Located in Vielha, in Mijaran, the place can be a Shop, a Bar, a Restaurant, a Meeting Room, a Concert Hall or a place to read a book while having a wine.

Both the kitchen and the Gourmet d'Occitània shop are focused on quality raw materials, almost entirely self-produced and the highest quality products in the area. A commitment to developing local commerce and a space for local producers.

With a relaxed and familiar atmosphere, the place offers its clients a versatile and fun menu, to have a snack or to make a complete meal; salads, cold cuts and cheese boards, patés, fried eggs, different sandwiches, homemade desserts and a careful selection of wines reviewed annually, all prepared, cooked and served with respect, sympathy and affection.

The open kitchen offers the diner the possibility of participating in the service, according to a motto of the house… what cannot be taught, cannot be done!

Gourmet d´Occitània combines tradition and modernity in an informal and fun environment.



  • Pàmies Millefeuille, with Tomato, Goat Cheese, Nuts and Garòs Honey Vinaigrette



  • Pastor, the traditional one that shepherds ate in the high mountains, with Bread, Garlic, Egg and Bacon.

  • Onion, or “Tourrine” in the Pyrenees, filling to spend long cold days, with Bread and Cow Cheese.

  • Noodles with Meatballs.

  • with Butifarra or Chistorra or Black Butifarra or Black Onion Butifarra.




  • Bacon, with cow cheese, dried tomato and dates.

  • Butifarra, with Piquillo Pepper aioli.

  • Loin Cabezada, with cherry tomato and mustard sauce.

  • Old Cow Steak Burger, with goat cheese, tomato, arugula and mustard.

  • Bossòst Pascalet Foal Burger, with goat cheese, tomato, arugula and wine mustard.

  • Sheep Burger, Aranese breed, with roasted pepper and spicy sauce

  • Artagnac Loin Halter Bikini, with cow cheese, pickles, hot paprika and Armagnac.

  • “Pirinenco”, with bacon tortilla, goat cheese and arugula.

  • “Santa Mercedes”, a very lightly cooked tortilla with goat cheese.

  • Grilled pâté, with Pàmies “mesclum” and sour apple compote.

  • Baked lamb, with its sauce and mustard.

Cold sandwiches

  • “Pan Banhat”, with roasted pepper, onion, anchovies, hard-boiled egg and black olives.

  • Sausage or Cheese, to choose.




  • Gers chicken, with baked potato.

  • Loin Cabezada, with bread potato.

  • Butifarra or Chistorra or Black Butifarra or Black Onion Butifarra, with escalibada.




  • Ice cream and sorbets.

  • Sweet (Cookies or sweet pastries to choose from).

  • House flan, with fresh milk and Organic eggs.

  • President or Colonel.

  • Plums in Aranese barretxa.

  • Coulant, with Cream ice cream or Tarte Tatin, with Vanilla ice cream

  • Cow yogurt, from the “Irissa”.

Monday-Thursday: 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., open kitchen from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

​Friday and Saturday: from 12:00 to 00:00, kitchen open from 13:00 to 15:15 and from 19:00 to 23:15

Sunday: from 12:00 to 16:30, kitchen open until 15:15


Low season, Spring and Autumn

Monday, closed

Tuesday-Thursday: from 17:00 to 00:00, open kitchen from 19:00 to 23:00 ​

Reservations are not taken, whoever arrives sits down and if there is no place they have to wait.

Most of the products are self-produced in an artisanal way, or acquired from local or proximity producers; their availability depends on various factors, season, availability of raw material, etc.

The portions are generous and designed to share. If you have questions about it, ask, we will try to help you and / or clarify any question.

Gourmet d'Occitània, wants to be a guarantee brand where local producers, processors and merchants are grouped, with a similar philosophy; artisan products, made from raw materials produced locally.
